National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization (NOTTO) is a National level organization set up under Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

About MyGov

MyGov is a citizen engagement platform launched by the Government of India on 26 July 2014 to promote the active participation of Indian citizens in their country’s governance and development.

Contest Details

Angdaan Mahotsav campaign kick started on 1st July,2023 in line with the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to raise awareness on organ donation across the country. As part of the campaign, 3rd August 2023 will be celebrated as Indian Organ Donation Day to commemorate the first successful deceased donor organ transplant, which was also the first Heart transplant, after the promulgation of “The Transplantation of Human Organ Act” on 8th July 1994. The month of July 2023 is being celebrated as Organ Donation Month during which various awareness activities will be organised.

Taking the campaign a step further, the National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in collaboration with the MyGov platform is organising Mascot Design Competition on organ donation.

Participants can submit their creations in PDF format.

Contest Guidelines

  • The Competition is open to all Indian Citizens.
  • All entries for the Contest must be submitted through the MyGov platform.
  • Participants should submit their entries on a white A4 size sheet. (PDF format only).
  • A participant can submit only one entry.
  • The submitted designs of the mascot must be original and created by the participant himself/herself.
  • The participant is to ensure that his/her MyGov profile is accurate and updated since the Ministry will use this for further communication.

Prizes

The selected top entries will be awarded with Cash Prizes.

  • First Winner – ₹10,000/-
  • Second Winner – ₹5,000/-
  • Third Winner – ₹3,000/-
