About Bharathi Cement
Bharathi Cement Corporation Private Limited (BCCPL) is a producer of Superior Quality Cement and has set new standards in the cement business. It is a joint venture of Vicat Group, France (pioneers in cement) in India.
The ownership of the company was changed and the company was renamed later as Bharathi Cement Corporation Limited. Vicat SA, France required a majority stake in the company. Later, the name of the company was changed to Bharathi Cement Corporation Private Limited.
About the Scholarship
The Bharathi Cement Scholarship is a project of collaboration with the Vidyasaarathi portal for providing financial assistance to young students from poor economic backgrounds for the continuation of their education. This scholarship would not be applicable to Bharathi Cement employees and their children.
Eligibility Criteria
- Students pursuing full-time in Class 10 can apply.
- The students must have secured a minimum of 50% in Class 9.
- No, Irrespective of gender anyone can apply.
- The scholarship is available to only students whose family income is less than 5,00,000 (5 Lakhs).
- First Preference will be given to students from YSR Kadapa District Andhra Pradesh.
Benefits
The maximum scholarship amount that will be awarded is up to Rs. 10000.
