About MyGov

MyGov is a citizen engagement platform launched by the Government of India on July 26, 2014 to promote the active participation of Indian citizens in their country’s governance and development. It is aimed at creating a common platform for Indian citizens to “crowdsource governance ideas from citizens”.

Visitors Facilitation Cell of Rashtrapati Bhavan in collaboration with MyGov invites the citizen to capture their moments of joy, wonder, and connection with nature through the art of the selfie.

Terms and Conditions

  • The Contest is open to all citizens of India only.
  • All entries to be submitted through www.mygov.in. Entries submitted through any other medium/mode would not be considered for evaluation.
  • Multiple entries from the same participant will not be accepted.
  • Participants should upload their entry as a high-quality visual file to any media platform, such as SoundCloud, YouTube, Dropbox etc. and share the link in the description box.
  • ThePhotographshouldbeoriginal.Copiedentrieswillnotbeconsideredunderthecontest. Photo-shopped or edited pictures/selfies will not be accepted.
  • Only colour geo-tagged photographs will be accepted.
  • The participant should upload the photograph as a file in JPG, PNG or PDF format only.
  • Thephotographshouldbeinhighresolutionwithminimum300DPI.The photograph should look clean (not pixelated or bit-mapped) when viewed on-screen at 100%.
  • The Submitted entry should be of at least 2MB in size.
  • The participant should make sure that his/ her MyGov profile is accurate and updated for further communication. This includes details such as name, country declaration, complete postal address, email ID, phone number, etc.
  • The entries will be judged on the basis of elements of creativity, originality, composition, and
  • simplicity.
  • Once submitted for competition, copyrights will solely be with the Visitors Facilitation Cell of
  • Rashtrapati Bhavan and MyGov.
  • The Organizers reserve the right to cancel or amend all or any part of the Contest and/ or the
  • Terms & Conditions/ Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria. However, any changes to the Terms & Conditions/ Technical Parameters/ Evaluation Criteria, or cancellation of the Contest, will be updated/ posted on the MyGov platform.
  • The Selection Committee reserves the right to reject any entry that it does not feel is suitable or appropriate or does not conform to any of the conditions listed above.
  • The winners will be declared via the Winner announcement blog (blog.mygov.in). There will be no notification to participants not selected as winners.
  • Bonafide documents (proof of identity, age, address and bank details), will be required to be submitted by the winner(s) after the announcement of the result of the contest. Non-furnishing of the above information/documents at the appropriate stage will render the election null and void.
  • The Visitors Facilitation Cell of Rashtrapati Bhavan will disburse the winning rewards to the selected winner(s).
  • The Visitors Facilitation Cell of Rashtrapati Bhavan and MyGov accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss or injury of any kind suffered by any participants in entering the contest, including as a result of any participant winning or not winning any prize.
  • All disputes/ legal complaints are subject to the jurisdiction of Delhi only. Expenses incurred for this purpose will be borne by the parties themselves.
  • The entry must not contain any provocative, objectionable or inappropriate content.
  • At any stage of evaluation, if an entry is found to violate the guidelines, the entry will be
  • removed from the evaluation process without giving any intimation.
  • All the entries received by the organiser will be placed in front of a Selection Committee for
  • final selection. The decision of the committee will be final and binding to all the entries. No requests relating to claims of re-evaluation of the entries will be considered.

Prizes and Awards

The five best photographs will be awarded with a combo of one Magic Mug and one Metallic Pen as a Souvenir/Memento from Rashtrapati Bhavan.
