CRY is an Indian non-profit organization that believes in every child’s right to a happy childhood – to live, learn, grow and play.
We address children’s critical needs by working with parents, teachers, Anganwadi workers, communities, district and state level governments as well as the children themselves. We focus on changing behaviors and practices at the ground level and influencing public policy at a systemic level – thereby creating an ecosystem where children are made the nation’s priority.
In the last 46 years, with the help of our partners, donors, volunteers and supporters, we have impacted the lives of over 4.7 million children across 20 states in India.
About the Youth Change Champions Summer Internship
YCC is an education-based internship program for school-goers that will bring out the leadership aspects of participants and steer them towards becoming changemakers, contributing to the child rights movement, and demonstrating responsible citizenship.
Roles & Responsibilities
The Youth Change Champion Program is an education-based internship program for school-goers that is planned to begin on June 1st till June 30th, 2025.
Becoming a Youth Change Champion intern will expose you to weekly expert workshops, campaign organizing, leading projects, and life changing moments as you work with one of the most reputable NGO’s in India while contributing to the child rights movement in India.
Through this program, you will gain:
- Valuable experience working with a large non-profit
- Working for the cause of child rights
- Masterclass from industry experts
- Perspective and skills building
- Working on some live projects
- Teamwork and leadership
Eligibility
Anyone from Class 9th-12th and below the age of 18 years.
Certificates
Students will be given a certificate for attending all the masterclasses and on successful completion of the program. The best-performing students will also be given merit certificates.
Duration
The program will be conducted for 4 weeks from June 1 to June 30, 2025.
