About the Summer School
At Azim Premji University, we believe that true learning begins when we step beyond the traditional boundaries of academic subjects and challenge the status quo. Our Summer School 2025, themed ββCrossing Boundaries,β invites high school students to experience a dynamic learning environment where they can learn how disciplines intersect to produce new ways of thinking about key issues in our time.
Designed for students in Grades 11 and 12, the Summer School offers a week of immersive sessions led by faculty who will actively explore questions that cut across science and technology, social science, and the humanities. Participants can expect interactive lectures, thought-provoking discussions, and hands-on activities that will give them a taste of university-level learning where the focus is on enabling and expanding the individualβs capacity for knowledge and action across fields.
Whether itβs understanding how history informs public policy, how literature responds to the social world, or how science and society shape each otherβββthis is a space to explore, question, and create under the guidance of faculty working at the cutting edge of these fields.
We will close the week with a session on how to approach your college application, offering insights into how undergraduate programmes at the University are structured, and how students can make informed academic choices.
