How did you apply to this School?
I took an entrance exam to get into this school when I was in fourth grade.
What are some of the good things about the faculty of your School?
Teachers here are helpful, caring, and cooperative. They try to help students in every way. They don’t believe in rote learning but rather in understanding. They train us to take part in competitions. They work on the overall development of the student. They try to give attention to every student and are friendly to them too.
What are some of the bad things about the faculty of your School?
Some teachers are boring and make us study continuously. One of my maths teacher’s voices is not clear to us but we try our best to listen to him. Teachers here are strict and restrictive. Many times teachers don’t listen to children. Nevertheless, they retain their good habits leaving some teachers, everyone is good.
What are some of the good things about the infrastructure of your School?
There are three buildings and a large ground in our school. The first building is for a nursery and kindergarten. The second is for classes 1st to 5th and the third building has classes from 6th to 12th. Infrastructure includes a library with the latest version of books, two computer labs, a physics lab, a chemistry lab, and biology labs are also sufficient. Auditorium with ample space including big stage and changing rooms.
Our ground includes a football field, basketball court, lawn tennis court and cricket pitch. With an outdoor assembly stage. All classes though not air-conditioned but are equipped with working smart boards and lots of windows for proper ventilation. The school boundary is surrounded by green eucalyptus and Ashoka trees making the environment clean and green.
What are some of the bad things about the infrastructure of your School?
One of the major bad qualities is that there is no air conditioner in labs and library. The auditorium of our school is too old, it requires repairs and upgrades. The speakers on the outer stage are horrible. The corridors though are big but there are fewer lights in them.
What are some of the good things about the teacher-to-student ratio of your School?
Teachers here give full attention to all students. They try to cooperate with students, listen to their problems, and help them. Teachers sometimes teach us with the help of a smart board. There are a maximum of 45 students in each class. There are separate teachers for each subject.
What are some of the bad things about the teacher-to-student ratio of your School?
There are no specific teachers for NCC Navy Air and Army. secondly, no professional teacher teaches basketball or any specific game our school does not have a party system and there are fewer student interaction programs. There are no good teachers for mathematics in classes 11th and 12th.
What are some of the great initiatives/amenities offered in your School?
There are parking areas for students and teacher vehicles. Our school provides quality education to both primary and senior secondary students. The school conducts many seminars for student benefits and other student programs like debate quizzes dramas etc. Every year our School participates in Inspire Award Manak which is a national competition for students who have innovative ideas.
There are facilities of NCC-Army Navy and Air for classes 8th to 12th. There are Scouts and Guides committees for students of classes 6th and 7th. For classes first to fifth there are facilities for cubs and Bulbul. Our school has its band and choir teams. Music and dance classes are also given to children in primary school.
A large number of students are taking classes 11th and 12th for cabinet members. There are many departments with children recruited as secretaries and editors for example there is a debate club Hindi drama club English drama club English editorial board Hindi editorial board cultural committee music committee Eco club etc.
What are the things you would have liked to change about your School if you could?
I would like to have other streams in classes 11th and 12th as there is only a science stream in classes 11th and 12th. Secondly, I would like to have school exhibitions science fairs and maths fairs. Secondly, there must be camps and picnics for high school students.
How likely are you to recommend this School to other students?
7 out of 10.
