About the Foundation

Swami Dayanand Education Foundation, initiated by Mr. Ashutosh Garg and its founder trustees in 2015, was founded with a noble mission to offer scholarships to college students in India and the United States. Since its establishment, the foundation has been dedicated to making a quality college education attainable and within reach for all deserving students, regardless of their financial circumstances.

Scholarship Details

The Swami Dayanand Scholarships 2024-25, offered by the Swami Dayanand Education Foundation (SDEF), aims to provide financial assistance to deserving and meritorious students pursuing professional courses such as engineering, medicine, and architecture in India. Open to students enrolled in government or private institutions, this initiative seeks to empower exceptionally talented individuals facing financial challenges, ensuring they can pursue and complete their higher education.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The scholarship is available for all undergraduate courses– engineering, medical, architecture, etc. and other undergraduate courses.
  • Secured atleast 80% in CBSE Board or 70% or above Marks in Other Boards in 12th Class.
  • CGPA of at least 8.0 for Second year students.
  • Annual Family Income should be less than Rs 8 Lacs per annum.
  • Only first and second year students are allowed to apply for this program.
  • Only one year drop is allowed for technical courses.
  • All India Overall Rank should be less than 90,000 for Engineering & Architecture courses and 40,000 for medical courses.
  • Age limit – 19 years for first year students and 20 years for second year students.

  • Recent photograph.
  • Government authorized ID card. (Adhaar Card / Pan Card / Driving License / Voter ID / etc)
  • 10th and 12th Marksheets/Certificates.
  • Academic Marksheets for all semesters/term-wise scores.
  • Seat Allotment Letter.
  • Copy of Fee Receipts.
  • Copy of Education loan (If any)
  • Family Income Proof- Salary Certificate/Salary Slip (For 3 Months)/IT Return Form/Pension Copy.
