About

To mark the spirit of glory and to take it further with the theme India 2.0: Vision for India in 2047 where Investors are Smart, Informed & Empowered; IEPFA is announcing a series of run up contests & competitions, one of which is a “Pehchaan” a hybrid Mascot designing competition by IEPFA for students and general public at pan India level.

The objective of the competition is to sensitise the people about the value of money and to prepare for making informed financial decisions.

Eligibility & Categories

The competition is categorized based on age as follows: –

  • Category-I: 11 to 18 Yrs.
  • Category-II: 19 Yrs. and above

Theme

  • Theme of the Mascot should be based on IEPFA mandates only to make people associate with IEPFA initiatives.
  • Mascots can be an objects, animals, people, personification, fictional characters or creatures.
  • Theme of the character may be seen as under: –
    • Investors’ education and awareness for all.
    • To save oneself and others from fraudulent and Ponzi schemes.
    • financial literacy for all.
    • Helpful in assistance to return unclaimed shares & dividends to the rightful claimant.
    • Wise ways of investments/ Wise ways to grow money.
    • Learning financial literacy in fun & simple way
    • best use of money: Savings, budgeting, investments
    • Preventions before investments

  • Start Date: 07 Sep 2022
  • End Date: 30 Sep 2022
  • Declaration of Result: 10 Oct 2022

Awards & Prizes

  • There will be preliminary screening committee which will choose 10 best Mascots from each category.
  • Out of 10 best Mascots top 3 and further in order 1st, 2nd, 3rd winner will be selected by a Jury for respective category. The Jury decision shall remain final and no further correspondence will be entertained.
  • These top 6 Mascots (3 Mascots from 2 categories) will be a part of Tweeterthon organized by IEPFA on IEPFA’s twitter handle.
  • Best Mascots of 2 categories will also be highlighted through IEPFA monthly Newsletter.
  • Selected entries will be exhibited through online and offline platforms of IEPFA Social Media handles.
  • Winners will be given cash prize and shortlisted participants will be provided digital Certificates for participation besides mentioning in IEPFA’s social media handles.
  • First Prize Rs. 10000, Second Prize Rs. 5000 and Third Prize Rs. 2000 along with certificates and mentions in IEPFA’s social media handles, Magazine.
  • Winning Mascot designs will also be displayed in an exhibition at IEPFA conference hall.

Original, Creative, Innovative, Relatable, Concept and relevant to the contest theme and furnished with a suitable tagline.
