Submissions are invited for World Environment Day Photography Contest 2023 by British Deputy High Commission Kolkata and IBSA. The last date of submission is May 15, 2023.

About the Organizers

The British Deputy High Commission in Kolkata represents the UK government in Kolkata and Bhutan.

Indo-British Scholars’ Association, IBSA,  is an association of individuals and corporates, with connection to the United Kingdom, and who have benefitted from Britain’s education and training or have worked there.

Contest Details

British Deputy High Commission Kolkata and IBSA invites submission for World Environment Day Photography Contest 2023. The three categories are mentioned below:

  • Plastic Pollution.
  • Animals and Habitat.
  • Our Changing Planet.

Age Group

  • Junior: under 18 years.
  • Senior: above 18 years.

Contest Rules

  • Every entrant can submit up to a maximum of 1 original photograph in each category.
  • Format: JPG or JPEG only. File size: minimum 1 MB and above.
  • All images must be named in the following format: β€œFull Name of Entrant_Category_Age_Image Title”.
  • Entrants are allowed to submit their own photographic work. If it is found that someone else’s work has been submitted, then that entrant is disqualified.
  • No photo should carry watermark, date or any copyright marks.

Results

Results will be announced on 26 May 2023. The winners will be invited to a felicitation ceremony in Kolkata on 2nd June, 2023. Venue to be announced later.
