MyGov is organising a Selfie With Tiranga Competition. It is open to all and the deadline for submission is August 31, 2024.
About the Competition
In celebration of India’s independence and as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, the Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with MyGov, is hosting a Selfie competition with the Tiranga. This initiative invites citizens from across the country to capture and share their patriotic spirit by taking a selfie with the Indian national flag.
Whether you’re at home, at a landmark, or participating in a community event, we encourage you to showcase your pride and creativity with the Tiranga in your photos.
How to Participate?
Participation is simple:
- Get a Tiranga: Obtain a flag, ensuring it adheres to the Flag Code of India.
- Take a Selfie: Click a selfie with the flag.
- Upload Your Selfie: Visit the MyGov portal and upload your photo.
Why Participate?
This initiative offers an opportunity to express your love for the nation and be a part of a larger community celebrating India’s independence. Moreover, selected entries will be featured on MyGov’s social media platforms, giving participants nationwide recognition.
Competition Dates
The ‘Selfie with Tiranga’ initiative runs from August 9 to August 31, 2024. Make sure to participate within these dates to be part of this unique celebration.

The best selfies will be amplified on MyGov social media handles.
Terms and Conditions
- The Competition is open only to Indian citizens.
- All entries must be submitted to www.mygov.in.
- One participant can submit a maximum of one entry only. Once submitted an
entry cannot be withdrawn. - Submissions should not contain any offensive or inappropriate content.
- The entries will be the intellectual property and copyright of the Ministry of
Culture, Government of India. - By submitting a selfie, participants grants the organizers the rights to use, publish,
and display their selfie’s in any promotional materials. - The entries are intended to be used by Government of India for promotional and
display purposes. - The content must be original and should not violate any provision of the Indian
Copyright Act, 1957. Anyone found infringing on others’ copyright would be
disqualified from the competition. Government of India does not bear any
responsibility for copyright violations or infringements of intellectual property
carried out by the participants. - Participant is to make sure that his/her MyGov profile is accurate and updated
since the Ministry would be using this for further communication. This includes
name, contact number and email id. Entries with incomplete profiles would not be
considered. - Ministry reserves the right to cancel or amend all or any part of the Contest and/ or
the Terms & Conditions. However, any changes to the Terms & Conditions or
cancellation of the Contest, will be updated on the content only. - It would be the responsibility of the participants to keep themselves informed on
any changes in the Terms & Conditions stated for this Contest. - In this competition only selfies with Tiranga will be considered.
- All disputes/ legal complaints are subject to the jurisdiction of Delhi only. Expenses
incurred for this purpose will be borne by the parties themselves.
