Contest Overview
You know how much you love or care for a person, a pet, a place, or an event, but when was the last time you wrote a letter to show how much you love and care for them? You can write poetry or a short story from the heart, expressing your feelings, love, and care. You can write for your family members, loved ones, friends, neighbors, pets, or for someone you have not seen for a long time but want to make contact with. You can share a special memory in your life experiences.
American Painters and peace Educators Association welcome writers worldwide to submit their work. You can submit your work on any topic. Selected work will be posted either on the website or in the magazine. You can share your memory and make the ones you care about feel loved and cherished.
Eligibility
This is an international competition, and it is open to all writers around the globe.
Contest Rules
- There is no page requirement. You can submit 1-2 poems or stories.
- Manuscript submissions must be original.
- Do not include your name or identifying information in the document.
- All finalists will be considered for publication. Selected winnersβ work will be published on the website or magazine.
Awards
First place, second place and honorable mentions: certificate of achievement.
