About PMKVY 4.0

Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) is the flagship scheme of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) implemented by National Skill Development Corporation. The objective of this Skill Certification Scheme is to enable a large number of Indian youths to take up industry relevant skill training that will help them in securing a better livelihood. Individuals with prior learning experience or skills will also be assessed and certified under Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

Programme Details

NIELIT Kolkata is going to start skill development training free of cost for all categories of candidates in the offline mode under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY 4.0) in following job roles:

210 hrs [Mon–Fri]

Seats

400 seats in each course.

Certificate

Eligible students will get certificate from the awarding body after completion of the training and successfully clearing the examinations. Minimum 70% attendance is required during the classes in order to become eligible for appearing in examinations.

Selection Criteria

Admission will be offered to eligible candidates on first-come-first-serve basis.

Documents Required

Candidates have to bring the following documents along with Soft Copy of the document verification:

  • Self-Attested copy of Aadhaar Card / Any other Govt. approved Photo Id-Card.
  • Self-Attested copy of DOB Proof/X certificate.
  • Self-Attested copy of eligibility qualification certificates and marksheets.
  • Self-attested copy of Caste certificate in case of SC/ST candidate.
  • Two recent passport size photographs.
