About Stay Safe Online
Stay Safe Online is an online campaign run and managed by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India during Indiaβs presidency of G20.
About the Competition
The objective of organising these national-level competitions is to inculcate cyber hygiene practices among internet users as part of the SSO Campaign.
These competitions are organized in collaboration with the Central Institute of Educational Technology(CIET), a constituent unit of NCERT, Ministry of Education.
Theme for this June 2023
Securing mobile/mobile apps from various cyber attacks.
Competition Guidelines
- The slogan should be a one-line sentence or phrase that is catchy and relevant to the theme of information security.
- Example: βBe Cyber Aware β Be Cyber Securedβ.
- Each individual can submit only one Slogan, and it should be his/her original work.
- Slogans copied from the internet will not be accepted/encouraged.
- The slogan should not have any negative connotations pointing out individual, organization, brand name, religion, country etc.
- It should be a motivating and positive quote or sentence that encourages awareness among citizens regarding any aspect of cyber security.
Eligibility Criteria
The competition is open to all citizens (children, students, women, senior citizens, government employees, teachers, faculty, specially abled, etc.)
Prizes & Certificates
- 1st Place: Rs. 5,000.
- 2nd Place: Rs. 4,000.
- 3rd Place: Rs. 3,000.
- Consolation Prizes: 5 of Rs. 1,000 each.
- National-level certificates for all the prize winners.
- Participation certificates will be given to all eligible candidates.
- Best works will be published in newsletters/magazines/websites/calendars and promoted with SSO branding.

Judgement Criteria
The work will be judged on the following criteria:
- Originality: 30%.
- Creativity and presentation: 40%.
- Relevance to the theme: 30%.
Participation Deadline
June 30, 2023.
Results Announcement Date
Winners will be announced at the national-level in theΒ 3rd or 4th week of July.
