About the Notification
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the results of the Skill Expo regional events, held at various locations across India. These events, which took place in Mysore, Kota, and Bhopal in July and August 2024, were aimed at showcasing the innovative skills of students in various fields such as Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics, Emerging Technologies, Health & Wellness, and more.
The competitions saw enthusiastic participation from students and mentors, with schools from different regions presenting their projects on themes such as traffic optimization, voice-activated medical devices, and crime rate prediction. The top-performing teams from each region have been notified and will proceed to the National Event to be held in January 2025.
Top Performers from Each Region
Bangalore Region
- 1st Place: National Hill View Public School, Bangalore – Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics
- 2nd Place: Excel Public School, Mysore – Hospitality & Tourism
- 3rd Place: AECS Magnolia Maaruti Public School, Bangalore – Emerging Technologies
Ajmer Region
- 1st Place: Jayshree Periwal Global School, Jaipur – Health, Beauty & Wellness
- 2nd Place: The Aditya Birla Public School, Jaipur – Emerging Technologies
- 3rd Place: Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Vidyashram, Jaipur – Emerging Technologies
Bhopal Region
- 1st Place: Gwalior Glory High School, Gwalior – Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics
- 1st Place: People’s Public School, Bhopal – Emerging Technologies
- 2nd Place: Neiil World School, Indore – Banking, Financial Services, Insurance
- 3rd Place: Delhi Public School, Kolar Road, Bhopal – Emerging Technologies
National Event
The students who ranked in the top three positions, along with their mentors, have been invited to participate in the National Skill Expo, scheduled for January 2025. This national platform will provide them with an opportunity to showcase their projects on a larger scale and compete with the best talent from other regions.
