About BITM

Birla Industrial & Technological Museum (BITM) in Kolkata, the first science museum in the country under the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India, is engaged in popularizing and promoting science especially among the youth through various interactive models, exhibitions, educational programmes and activities throughout the year.

BITM facilities are specifically designed to augment the learning curves of the students not only on curricular concepts in basic physics, chemistry, mathematics, biology, astronomy, electricity, electronics etc., but also on current topics of interest in science & technology and related social issues. They also offer a number of very educative and exciting science shows for organized groups.

Admission Details

Registrations are invited for BITM Astronomy Club Admission 2024-25 for School and College Students. Students in class 9 onwards can register themselves. Membership Certificate will be provided for one year membership.

Frequency of Meetings

Once in a month.

Timing

1 hr in the evening.

Eligibility

  • School students from class IX to XII.
  • Undergraduate college students.

Registration Fee

Rs 500/- per head for individual school/college student.

Guidelines

  • After successful online registration and fulfilling the eligibility criteria for the participation in the club, payment link will be sent in registered email id.
  • Fees once paid will not be refunded.
  • Participation for the club will be confirmed only after the successful payment of the registration fees. Mere fill up of the registration form does not confirm the participation for the club until the payment is done.
