About NCERT
The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT, New Delhi) is an autonomous organisation set up in 1961 by the Government of India to assist and advise the Central and State Governments on policies and programmes for qualitative improvement in school education.
About RIE Mysuru
The Regional Institute of Education (RIE), Mysuru (formerly known as Regional College of Education) founded on 1st August, 1963, is one the of constituent units of NCERT and one among the six such institutions established by the NCERT, New Delhi.
Conference Details
The two-day National Conference is aimed at understanding the current innovative practices in school based career development programmes organised by the Institutions and Organisations. Thus, theme of the Conference is ‘Innovative Practices and Experiences in School Based Career Development Programmes for Students’.

Call for Papers
The Conference will be organised in a blended mode. Participants who are interested to make paper presentation are requested to choose any of the sub theme and submit an abstract of the Paper (not more than 500) words along with the full paper (about 4000 6000 words excluding references) on or before the last date of paper submission through conference email. Authors of the selected papers will be asked to make an oral presentation or a poster presentation after scrutiny. Papers which are covering any one or more subthemes only will be considered for presentation. Theoretical and conceptual papers are not entertained.
The full paper along with the abstract should be typed in MS Word with Times New Roman 12 font size, 1.5 line spacing and alignment left. The cover page should reflect the title of the paper, subtheme, name of the author(s), designation, institutional affiliation, complete address with contact phone and email.
The abstract should reflect the purpose, aims/objectives, target group, method, the intervention/activities organised, duration, major outcome/results and implications.
Who can Participate?
Experienced practising school counsellors, counsellor educators, researchers, representatives of Government and nonGovernmental Organisations, policy makers of State and Central Governments, Representative of International Organisations working in India and the Professional Associations in the field of Career Guidance and Counselling/Career development are invited to make presentation. Practitioners deputed/sponsored by their organisations without making paper presentation are also encouraged to register for the Conference. However, the number of such cases will be restricted.
