About UNESCO MGIEP
The Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development (MGIEP), in New Delhi, India was established with the support of the Government of India and is an integral part of UNESCO. They believe in Transforming Education with Social and Emotional Learning for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
It is the first and only category 1 Research Institute in Asia Pacific and focuses on achieving the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4.7 towards education to foster peaceful and sustainable societies. The primary objective is to work towards UN Sustainable Development Goal 4.7, which aims to advance education in order to foster peaceful and sustainable societies worldwide. This will be accomplished through the creation of initiatives and resources that encourage social and emotional learning, introduce innovative digital teaching methods, and empower young people.
About the Course
This course is the first step of your journey to become a Global Citizen! By taking this course, you will understand how global citizens think, feel, and take action to solve the urgent challenges the world is facing, and you will learn and practice important skills to become a global citizen. At the end of this course, you will know which are the next steps on your everyday journey to help building a peaceful and sustainable future for our world, as a Global Citizen yourself!

- Step 3: Fill out the registration form with your required information, such as your age, password, confirm password, email and confirm email.
- Step 4: Review and agree to the platform’s terms of service and privacy policy.

- Step 6: Important: Note your unique ID at some place safe.
- Step 7: Under courses go to K-12 learners
- Step 8: Click on the course to enroll.
- Step 9: Click on enroll now and choose facilitated cohort to get support through out the courses.

- Step 11: Invite Codes are available under each course section.
- Step 12: Enter the invite code and click enroll now.
