About FTII

The Film and Television Institute of India is a film institute under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of the Government of India and aided by the Central Government of India. It is situated on the premises of the erstwhile Prabhat Film Company in Pune.

Course Details

Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada (SRTM) University, Nanded, in association with Film & Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, as Academic Partner, announces “Foundation Course in Screen Acting“ to be conducted on SRTM University campus, Nanded, Maharashtra.

The design of this course takes root from the above definition and by using a combination of exercises from Sanford Meisner, Stanislavski, Less Strasberg, Stella Adler and Natyashastra Techniques would enable the student to understand the building blocks of a performance via constant practice of fundamental exercises and live scripts leading to enabling the participant to be confident in taking up auditions and actual screen acting assignments. A wholesome design of training the body, voice and craft apparatus would be undertaken in this course.

Dates

22^nd July to 12^th October 2024 (Excluding Sundays and 02^nd October 2024).

Timing

10 am to 6 pm (01.30 pm to 02 pm will be lunch break). On few days timing may extend.

Maximum No. of Seats

24 (Course will be conducted only if minimum strength of 20 is reached).

Selection Criteria

On First – Come – First – Served Basis.

Age

18 years completed as on 01^st July 2024.

Educational Qualification

HSC (12^th pass). In exception cases, 10^th pass may be considered.

Nationality

Indian except for those foreign students who are presently students of SRTM University/ affiliated colleges of the University.

Medium of Instructions

English and Hindi.

Venue

School of Fine and Performing Arts, SRTM University Campus, Nanded.
