Programme Details
Ashoka Horizons Achievers Programme offers an immersive learning experience across Humanities, Sciences, and Commerce streams, in line with Ashoka University’s interdisciplinary approach. The programme allows students to explore subjects beyond their standard curriculum or dive deeper into their academic interests.
With a strong emphasis on experiential learning, students can apply their knowledge to real-world scenarios, enhancing both understanding and skills. Additionally, the programme helps students develop critical 21st-century skills like communication, problem-solving, and leadership. Beyond academics, it introduces students to finding purpose, building resilience, and developing a well-rounded personality, preparing them not only for college but for a meaningful life ahead.
Under the Budget 2024, more than ₹3 lakh crore has been allocated for schemes benefitting women and girls. What is the basis of this allocation? How is the budget for any scheme decided? How is the minimum wage decided? How is the funding allocated for different policies in general?
Econometrics Essentials is a practical live course that provides a solid foundation of econometrics, focusing on the analysis of economic data through visualization, basic statistics to understand association between different economic variables across countries or time, modeling economic systems or relations through linear regression, making causal inference etc. It is a skill to draw valuable information and insights from the raw economics data and this course aims to help students take first step in this direction by teaching them how to test economic theories through simple linear models on the data and through this process, ignite interest in the fields of economics.
Eligibility
- High school students from India and across the world are eligible to apply.
- Students should be entering or in grades 9-12 as in summer 2025.
- Students should be comfortable with written & spoken English, which will be the medium of instruction for the courses.
- Students should have consistent access to the Internet and a computer that aligns with the recommended minimum specifications.
- Students should have a good and consistent academic record.
