About ISRO

The Indian Space Research Organisation is the national space agency of India, headquartered in Bangalore, Karnataka.

It operates under the Department of Space (DOS) which is directly overseen by the Prime Minister of India, while the Chairman of ISRO acts as the executive of DOS as well. ISRO is India’s primary agency for performing tasks related to space-based applications, space exploration and the development of related technologies.

Course Details

This course offers basic knowledge on Space Technology, Space Science and Space Applications to the younger students with Challenges & Opportunities . The course is aimed at creating awareness about the emerging trends in science and technology amongst the youngsters, who are the future building blocks of our nation. We aims at “Ignite the mind” of young generation on space technology. The programme is also expected to encourage more students to pursue in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) based research /career.

These are the structured courses available as on selected topic (s) for general awareness. The online learners can follow the sequence of the course contents to get knowledge about the topic. The registrations are not required to access these courses. The Certificate is not available for these courses.
