About Madhya Pradesh
Madhya Pradesh, a large state in central India, retains landmarks from eras throughout Indian history. Begun in the 10th century, its Hindu and Jain temples at Khajuraho are renowned for their carvings of erotic scenes, most prominently Kandariya Mahadeva, a temple with more than 800 sculptures. The eastern Bandhavgarh and Kanha national parks, noted Bengal tiger sanctuaries, offer guided safaris.

Guidelines
- The contest is open for online submissions only.
- Submissions will not be accepted once the deadline lapses.
- Submitted images should not be larger than 100 MB. Images must be in JPEG/PNG format.
- All submitted photos must contain a Story behind the picture (brief description of the subject photographed). However, there must be no watermarks, border(s), logo(s), copyright marks on the image.
- Photos submitted should be of a tourist destination, monument or attraction of Madhya Pradesh.
- Submitted photos must be originally taken by the contestant. It must not contain any materials owned or controlled by a third party for which you have not obtained a license, must not infringe the copyright, trademark, moral rights, rights of privacy/publicity or intellectual property rights of any person or entity. Please tick mark consent form/letter** as proof of originality and ownership of the photo.
- The contest is not open to employees (permanent or consultant) of MPT and their family members, and of Jansampark and associate agencies.
Prizes for Each Category
- 1st Prize: INR 25,000.
- 2nd Prize: INR 11,000.
- 3rd Prize: INR 8,000.
Winners will be honoured on World Tourism Day at MPT Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Centre, Bhopal.
