About the Competition
The competition encourages participants to take selfies in their kitchen gardens (Poshan Vatikas), highlighting the role of home-grown produce in promoting nutrition and food security. The focus should be on showcasing the variety of local plants, fruits, and vegetables being grown, aligning with the goals of POSHAN Abhiyaan.

Submission Guidelines
a. Once a participant registers for the online competition, a selfie can be submitted.
b. It should be aΒ JPEG image of less than 2 MB size.
Evaluation Criteria
Each entry will be judged on the combination of overall creativity.
a. Relevance to the theme,
b. Visual appeal, and
c. The theme of kitchen gardening and nutrition.(showcasing βBest Local Variety of Plants Sownβ or βMost Creative Kitchen Gardenβ related efforts)
Rewards
The top three ranks in each category will be given prize money:
a. First Winner INR.5000,
b. Second Winner INR. 3000 and
c. Third Winner INR. 2000
Terms and Conditions
- The contest is open to all Indian citizens.
- The above indicated competitions are designed to represent Ministry of Women and Child Developmentβs
focus on a Malnutrition free nation through Mission Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 - All entries must be submitted on www.mygov.in. Entries submitted through any other medium/mode will not
be considered for evaluation. - The participants agree to grant an exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free license in respect of all the rights, titles
and interests, including but not limited to intellectual property in the Submissions in favour of the organizers. - The organizers shall have all rights to publish, use, adapt, edit and/or modify such Submissions, including,
without limitation, selected portions thereof, in any way, in any media, without limitation, worldwide and in
perpetuity, for use, including but not limited to, advertising, promotion, review, or any other purpose
whatsoever. - The participants undertake not to file applications or claim rights, title, or ownership in the Submissions and
shall provide all assistance to the Organizers to obtain registration of Intellectual Property in respect of the
same, in the name of the Organizers, as may be required in any jurisdiction. - The submissions must include a brief description of the activity.
- Please note that the submissions must be original and should not violate any provision of the Indian Copyright
Act, 1957. Anyone found infringing on othersβ copyright will be disqualified from the competition. - All rights, titles, and interests, including, without limitation, intellectual property rights in the submissions
being made, must be owned solely by the participants. - The participant should ensure that his/her MyGov profile is accurate and updated since the Department would
use this for further communication. This includes details such as name, complete postal address, email ID and
phone number. Entries with incomplete profiles would not be considered. - In the event of unforeseen circumstances, organizers reserve the right to amend or withdraw the competition
at any time. To avoid doubt, this includes the right to amend these terms and conditions. - The Submissions shall not comprise any illegal, obscene, provocative, or inappropriate content.
- At any stage of evaluation, if an entry is found to violate the guidelines, the entry will be removed from the
evaluation process without giving any intimation. - The decision of the committee will be final and binding to all the entries. No requests relating to claims of
revaluation of the entries will be considered. - These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Indian Judiciary.
- By sending the entries, the participants accept and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions,
mentioned above. - It is clarified that no registration/ submission fees are payable concerning the submissions for the competition.
