Applications are open and invited for the Ramanujan National Maths Challenge 2024 by the All India Council for Technical Skill Development (AICTSD). The last date of registration is April 20, 2024.

About the Competition

The All India Council for Technical Skill Development (AICTSD) is working together with industry professionals to achieve the common agenda of developing technical skills and creating technological leaders at an academic institutional level in the country.

To further this mission, AICTSD has launched India’s Biggest Maths Challenge Program i.e. Ramanujan National Maths Challenge which aims to identify the national maths scholar from the student community.

Through this competition, they are searching for the National Maths Scholar 2024 from the student community.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Any school student from class 4 to 12 can apply.
  • Any college student or professional up to age 28 can apply.

This is a runner-up award, given to 50 candidates (Rank 4th – 53rd) at Rs. 2,000 each.

5th Prize (Appreciation)

This is an appreciation award that will be given to 100 candidates (Rank 54th – 153rd) at Rs. 500 each.

  • Chance to Participate in International Level Project Competition Organised by AICTSD.
  • Get a National Mathematics Scientist Scholarship.

Exam Format

  • Exam Format: Online exam at home only.
  • Online Live Interview: At home only.
  • Exam Format: Objective Q&A (MCQ).
  • Exam Duration: 45 Minutes.
  • No.of Questions: 30.
  • Total Marks: 60.
  • Negative Marking: Yes (1 Mark will be deducted for each wrong answer).
