Ministry of Jal Shakti and MyGov India is organising National Level Painting Competition 2025. The last date of submission is January 15.

About

Water conservation has become a national priority in India as the country faces increasing challenges related to water scarcity and management. The launch of the β€˜Jal Sanchay Jan Bhagidari’ initiative by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi on September 6, 2024, in Surat, Gujarat, marks a significant step towards addressing these challenges. Under β€˜Jal Sanchay Jan Bhagidari’ program, approximately 24,800 rainwater harvesting structures are being constructed across the state to enhance rainwater harvesting and ensure long-term water sustainability.

Ministry of Jal Shakti in collaboration with MyGov is hosting a Painting competition and invites budding artists encouraging them to take part in raising awareness about the importance of preserving water through the power of art.

The theme of the painting competition is β€œTraditional Water Bodies of India”.
