Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) is an Educational Organization popularizing academic competition and assisting development of competitive spirit among school children.

SOF was established by leading academicians, scientists and media personalities with the aim of promoting Science, Mathematics, Computer Education, English, Social Studies, General Knowledge, Hindi and professional courses. Olympiad Details

The International General Knowledge Olympiad (SOF IGKO) is an annual academic competition organized by SOF for students in classes 1-10 to assess their knowledge of current affairs, social and political developments, history, geography, and other related subjects. The curriculum of the SOF Olympiad is designed to provide young students with a platform to identify and nurture their academic talents in the field of general knowledge, preparing them for the competitive world from an early age. Olympiads, as prescribed by NEP, facilitate the development of problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and cognitive skills in students.

This section provides answers to all your queries regarding the SOF IGKO Olympiad, including exam dates, frequently asked questions, awards provision, and most importantly, participation in the competition. Our objective is to encourage students to showcase their talent and improve their know-how in the field of general knowledge to achieve success in their academic and professional endeavours.

Eligibility

Students from classes 1 – 10, enrolled in a school recognized by SOF are eligible for IGKO.

Exam Dates

  • Level 1 Exam Date 1: 19th September, 2024.
  • Level 1 Exam Date 2: 4th October, 2024.
  • Level 1 Exam Date 3: 15th October, 2024.

How to Register?

Interested students can register themselves via their school through this link. Students should apply and submit the form for the SOF International General Knowledge Olympiad (IGKO) at least 30 days before the exam date. Students cannot submit their applications individually. Applications will only be submitted via the schools.
