Submissions are invited for Drawing Competition 2023 on the Occasion of Wildlife Week for School Students by Goa Forest Department. The last date of submission is October 5, 2023.
About Goa Forest Department
The Forest Department endeavors to serve the people of Goa in many fields. The main objective of the Forest Department is the conservation of the forests in Goa. Large stocks of seedlings are provided every year by the Department to individuals, Companies, Schools, Panchayats, etc. to plant in areas available with them.
Competition Details
As part of the Wildlife Week Awareness Campaign, 2023, a Drawing Competition will be conducted by the Goa Forest Department for the school and specially abled students in the State.
Categories
- Category A: Std : 1 β 4.
- Category B: Specially abled Children.
Topics
- Topic for Category A: Butterflies of Goa.
- Topic for Category B: Flowers of Goa.
Competition Rules
- Interested school shall register themselves with Taluka level nodal officers and conduct the event at their premises in association with nodal officers.
- School will send the best 3 entries to nodal officers.
- Drawing Sheet (A3 size) will be provided by the Department/Nodal Officers.
- Duration of the event is 1 hr.
- Participants are requested to get cardboard, colouring material and are free to use any colouring material available with them.
- Names, Std., School name should be mentioned on the back side of drawing sheet.
- Evaluation to be done at District level by Subject Experts.
- Decision of judges will be final.
- If any of the above conditions are not fulfilled the entry will be disqualified.
- Best three entries to be evaluated for prizes in each category at District Level.
Important Dates
- The last date for registration for schools and Colleges with Taluka Level Officers is 28.09.2023.
- School shall send the best 3 entries to Taluka Level Officers on or before 05.10.2023.
