Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Govt. of India has suggested some events/ activities under the Theme βTribal Empowermentβ under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations to commemorate 75 years of Indiaβs Independence and the glorious history of its people, culture and achievements.
The following activities may be organized in the schools as part of student enrichment activities aligned with the academic calendar of the school focusing on the themeΒ βTribal EmpowermentβΒ by August 16, 2023:
- Organizing Tribal Festivals/Stalls/Exhibitions at the school.
- Painting competitions/poster-making competitions/quizzes/essay writing competitions/slogan writing competitions/tree plantations/career counselling sessions/cultural programs/talent search competitions/etc. may be organised in the school.
- Nasha Mukat Bharat Campaign.
- A health camp/screening camp may be organised.
- Sports meet and youth club activities may also be organised.
A brief report of the events/activities along with 4-5 photographs may be uploaded at this link before August 17, 2023.
You are requested to encourage a maximum number of students to participate in the above events/activities.
