About CBSE
The Central Board of Secondary Education is a national level board of education in India for public and private schools, controlled and managed by the Government of India.
Established in 1929 by a resolution of the government, the Board was an experiment towards inter-state integration and cooperation in the sphere of secondary education. There are more than 27,000 schools in India and 240 schools in 28 foreign countries affiliated to the CBSE. All schools affiliated to CBSE follow theΒ NCERTΒ curriculum especially from class 9 to 12.

The Ministry of Defence (MoD), in collaboration with the Ministry of Education (MoE), has undertaken a
remarkable initiative to inspire and educate the youth of our nation about the acts of bravery and the
incredible stories of our courageous heroes.
To recognize and honour the outstanding students who have participated in Veergatha 3.0, a felicitation
ceremony for 100 National Level winners will take place at the Kothari Auditorium, DRDO Complex, New
Delhi on 25th January, 2024 from 11:00 hrs to 12:00 hrs. The ceremony will be graced by the presence of
Raksha Mantri and Shiksha Mantri, who will personally present awards to these students. Additionally, the
event will witness the release of commemorative coins and stamps, further immortalizing the valour of our Bravehearts.
The felicitation ceremony will be broadcasted on YouTube, from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon on 25th January, 2024 and you can access it through the following link. You are requested to arrange a viewing of the felicitation ceremony of Project Veer Gatha 3.0 in your school
