About the Competition
The Global Genius Music Competition is an online classical music competition for all countries in the world. Hence there is no need to travel.Β
Appear to a world-class international jury to help you move your career to the top. Show your musicality in front of internationally renowned teachers and professors, in the classical music industry in front of agents, PR and record companies to gain reputation and credibility.Β

Categories of Participation
Age Categories
Categories are set considering the age of the candidate on the day of the application deadline.
- A: Age 4-6 [Free choice of programme, up to 5 minutes].
- B: Age 7-8 [Free choice of programme, up to 6 minutes].
- C: Age 9-10 [Free choice of programme, up to 7 minutes].
- D: Age 11-12 [Free choice of programme, up to 8 minutes].
- E: Age 13-14 [Free choice of programme, up to 9 minutes].
- F: Age 15-17 [Free choice of programme, up to 10 minutes].
- G: Age 18-21 [Free choice of programme, up to 11 minutes].
- H: Age 22+ [Free choice of programme, up to 15 minutes].
Specific Categories
- J: Baroque [Free choice of 1 or more baroque pieces, up to 10 minutes].
- L: Romantic [Free choice of 1 or more romantic pieces, up to 10 minutes].
- K: Classical [Free choice of 1 or more classical pieces, up to 10 minutes].
- M: Modern [Free choice of 1 or more modern pieces (composed after 1900), up to 10 minutes].
- N: Sonata [1 or more movements of a sonata work].
- O: Concerto [1 or more movements of a concerto work].
- P: Chamber Music [Free choice of programme, up to 10 minutes – (Including Duo, and up to 10 players)].
- Q: Creative Video [In this category, you can submit videos that you perform, with free image editing of creative images, arts or illustrations up to 15 mins].
- R: Jazz [Free choice of programme, up to 10 minutes].
- S: Composition [Performing a piece written by yourself, up to 10 minutes].
- T: World Music [Performing national instruments, free choice of programme, up to 10 minutes].
Guidelines
- Candidates can submit separate videos for different pieces.
- Instrumentalists other than piano can send their performances with or without accompaniment. In the case of having accompaniment in the video, the accompanist will not be judged. Only the contestantβs performance will be judged and scored by the jury members.
- Candidates can choose to enter into more than one category if they wish to.

Prizes
Season Top 1
Season top 1Β is awarded to the candidate whom received the most total genius points in this season.
Season top 1 winner will receive: Β
- 1 x ‘Season Top 1’ Medal.
- 1 x e-Certificate.
- Display as the Season Top 1 in the “Genius Hall of Fame” on theΒ website, with photo and name.
- The teacher of Season Top 1 will receive ‘Outstanding Teacher Award’.
- Competition audio publishing onΒ True Art Music Soundcloud Channel.
Grand Prix Global Genius
Grand Prix βGlobal GeniusβΒ is awarded to the performer with the highest mark in this season.
Minimum mark required: 95, otherwise the prize will not be awarded.Β
The winner of Grand Prix βGlobal Geniusβ award will receive: Β
- 1 x ‘Global Genius’ Medal.
- 1 x e-Certificate.
- Display as the Grand Prix Winner in the “Genius Hall of Fame” on theΒ website, with photo and name.
- The teacher of the Grand Prix Winner will receive the ‘Outstanding Teacher Award’.
- 5 Genius Points.
- Competition audio publishing onΒ True Art Music Soundcloud Channel.
Platinum Prize
- Awarded to candidates who receive mark 96+ (full marks: 100).
- 1 x e-Certificate.
- Name and photo displayedΒ in the “Genius Hall of Fame” on the website.
- Possibility of ordering the paper certificate and medal (at an additional cost).
- The teacher of the Platinum Prize winner will receive the ‘Outstanding Teacher Award’.
- 5 Genius points.
Gold Prize
- Awarded to candidates who receive marks 90-95 (full marks: 100).
- 1 x e-Certificate.
- Name and photo displayedΒ in the “Genius Hall of Fame” on the website.
- Possibility of ordering the paper certificate and medal (at an additional cost).
- The teacher of the Gold Prize winner will receive the ‘Outstanding Teacher Award’.
- 5 Genius points.
Silver Prize
- Awarded to candidates who receive marks 80-89 (full marks: 100)
- 1 x e-Certificate.
- Name displayedΒ in the “Genius Hall of Fame” on the website.
- Possibility of ordering the paper certificate and medal (at an additional cost).
- 3 Genius points.
Bronze Prize
- Awarded to candidates who receive marks 70-79 (full marks: 100).
- 1 x e-Certificate.
- Name displayed in the “Genius Hall of Fame” on the website.
- Possibility of ordering the paper certificate and medal (at an additional cost).
- 1 Genius point.
Special Prize
1 Genius point will be awarded following by juries recommendations.
*All the participants will receive a participation e-certificate. E-certificates are all in digital versions, ready to print.
Outstanding Teacher
Awards will be given to all prize winners’ teachers, for the eminence and effectiveness of their teaching.
The Outstanding Teacher Award will consist of:
- 1 x e-Certificate.
- Eligible to join and be listed in theΒ Honorable League of Global Exceptional Music Teachers.
