Submission are invited for Poem Writing Competition 2023 by Wildlife Institute of India (WII). The last date of submission is June 15, 2023.
Competition Details
WII-Category 2 Centre on World Natural Heritage Management for Asia and the Pacific Region is based in Dehradun is engaged in preparation of Nomination Dossier of Bhedaghat-Lametaghat in Narmada Valley (Jabaplur) Madhya Pradesh. In this connection, WII is glad to announce a writing competition βcomposition or poetryβ as part of the process of writing dossier. This competition is intended to create the awareness among the civil society towards world heritage in India.
Bhedaghat-Lametaghat is located near the Jabaplur district in Madhya Pradesh (India). It is the part of Narmada River which is flowing flawlessly and makes a famous Dhuandhar (Smoky) waterfall. A gorge and marble rocks enhance its beauty and make it suitable for the potential candidate for the inscription of World Heritage Site.
Entries are invited to adorn the beauty and facts of Bhedaghat-Lametaghat, Itβs waterfall, gorge,
marble rocks and River Narmada as lifeline with its cultural values.
Guidelines
- Write either composition or poetry to βAdorn the beauty and facts of Bhedaghat-Lametaghat, Itβs waterfall, gorge, marble rocks and River Narmada as lifeline with its cultural valuesβ.
- Language: English or Hindi (Typed or Hand Written).
- Word Limit: Entry should be minimum 2000 words for composition and minimum 20 stanzas (4 lines in each stanza for poetry).
- The writing competition is open to all the citizens of India.
- There is no entry fee for the competition.
- A participant can send only one entry.
Prizes
- 1st Prize: Rs 10,000/-
- 2nd Prize: Rs. 7500/-
- 3rd Prize: Rs. 5000/
