Workshop Details

Sahitya Akademi, the National Academy of Letters, New Delhi, resumes its fourth edition of Kissa-O Kalam: The Speaking Pen, an annual workshop for children on creative writing in Hindi and English.

This initiative, Kissa-O-Kalam: The Speaking Pen, is a step forward to encourage and involve our children, our budding authors and thinkers of tomorrow, to participate and enjoy in the world of books and in the creative areas of reading and writing. This 5- day session, in New Delhi, from 29th May to 02nd June 2023 (Monday to Friday), is planned with a special focus to help children enjoy reading and writing, to play with language, and to use it creatively as a first step towards the creation of books.

Children who complete the workshop will be awarded a Certificate of Participation.

10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (3 hours daily)

8 years to 16 years.

Selection of Participants

Registered participants will be called for an interaction on 20th May 2023 from 2.00 pm onwards. The final list of participants will be uploaded on the Sahitya Akademi Website on 24th May 2023.

Interested participants please submit the form along with the registration fee of Rs. 500/- (non-refundable) in cash at the Sahitya Akademi office.
