About the Quiz
EESL in collaboration with MyGov is organizing Knowledge Worthy and attractive quiz on Energy Efficiency for Sustainable India. Energy Efficiency means using less energy to do things such as lighting our homes, cooking or using appliances like fans and ACs for cooling your homes. In India, many appliances are rated for their energy efficiency by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), with 5 star rated appliances the best. Energy Efficiency adoption helps in reduced energy consumption, Economic and Environmental benefits with reduction in GHG emissions (due to lower energy use).
The adoption of Energy Efficient appliances has a large scope in the industrial as well as domestic sector within our country. Though, Industrial sector often takes up energy efficiency interventions on their own as energy efficiency, in most of the cases, translates into cost efficiency, there is a lot left to be done in the domestic sector.
Terms & Condition
- Quiz is open for all Indian Citizens except the employees of EESL Group of Companies and their immediate family members.
- Access to the quiz will be available only through the MyGov platform.
- Quiz will start as soon as the participant clicks on the ‘Play Quiz’.
- The quiz is available in English only. There is no negative marking in the quiz.
- Multiple entries from the same participant will not be accepted.
- Each question in the Quiz is in the Multiple-Choice Format and has only one correct option.
- It is a time-bound quiz, individual will have 300 seconds to answer 10 questions in minimum possible time.
- Energy Efficiency Services Limited will send the winning prize and e-certificate to the selected winner(s) after publishing the winner announcement at Blog on blog.mygov.in and official website of Energy Efficiency Services Limited.
- Organizers will not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, are late or incomplete or have not been transmitted due to computer error or any other error beyond the organizer’s reasonable control. Please note proof of submission of the entry is not proof of receipt of the same.

Winners (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 03 consolation prizes) will be selected from the top scorers and will receive Energy Efficient appliances Gift Packs along with a winner’s e-certificate.
- 1st Prize (01 person) : 1200 W Induction Cookstove (01 nos.)
- 2nd Prize(01 person) : 10 W Emergency LED Bulbs (02 nos.)
- 3rd Prize(01 person) : 10 W Emergency LED Bulbs (01 nos.)
- Consolation Prizes (03 person) : 6W LED Bulb (02 units for each winner)
- Every participant will receive e-certificate of participation.
