Job Description

As a Teacher, you will help students develop as sensitive and engaged citizens.

Locations and Subjects

  • Azim Premji School, Kalburgi – Primary, Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), English, Kannada, Mathematics, Social Science, Pre-Primary Teacher.
  • Azim Premji School, Yadgir – Primary, Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), English, Mathematics, Social Science, Pre-Primary Teacher.
  • Azim Premji School, Bengaluru -Pre-Primary Teacher, Fine Art, Physical Education, Librarian.

Qualification and Experience

  • Primary Teacher – Graduation along withD.Ed.
  • Upper Primary and High School – Bachelors of Education degree (B.Ed.)
  • Pre Primary Teacher- Degree with NTT/Montessori or equivalent teacher training course
  • Physical Education/Fine Art – Bachelor’s degree in physical education/fine arts
  • Librarian – Bachelor’s degree in library science
  • At least 2 years of teaching experience and the ability to teach in English and Kannada is a must

Test Date & Venue

Applicants should choose the nearest test center from their current place of stay. As far as possible the candidate will be given a choice from the options offered, however, we may need to use discretion due to logistical reasons.

  • Develop curriculum and content for teaching-learning based on the context of the children
  • Develop a curricular plan and achieve curricular objectives for each child
  • Continuously engage with the community and parents to ensure their participation in school processes
  • Participate in and build school processes
