About the Foundation

The Azim Premji Foundation is a not-for profit organisation that has been working since 2000 with the elementary education system in rural government schools to improve educational quality across the country. The Foundation’s vision is to contribute towards a more just, equitable, humane, and sustainable society.

Job Details

This role entails extensive engagement on improving the quality of educational processes and practices within schools across a district, through capacity-building of teachers, head teachers, resource persons and education functionaries.

The focus of this role will be:

  • Improving the quality of educational processes and practices through capacity-building for teachers, head teachers, resource persons and education functionaries.
  • Designing and facilitating creative approaches to teaching and learning through their chosen subject.
  • Building networks of like-minded teachers and head teachers working in the same subject area.

Eligibility

  • Graduation with a minimum of 5 years’ teaching experience OR postgraduation with a minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience.
  • Candidates with relevant on-field experience in the social sector may also apply.
  • Willingness to travel within the district/state.
  • Language proficiency in Hindi and English.

Location

Since they work primarily with government rural schools, potential employees should be willing to reside and work in remote locations across the states we work in – Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttarakhand.

Online Test

The online test for Resource Persons will be conducted on 26 October, 2024.

  • For shortlisted candidates, the written tests will be conducted digitally.
  • Physical test option will be only where necessary in certain locations.
  • Test results will be shared with participants on their registered email IDs.
  • Our state recruitment teams will also be in touch with selected candidates for the next step of interviews.
