About the Scholarship

The TVS Cheema Scholarship 2024 is designed to provide financial assistance to students domiciled in Tamil Nadu. This scholarship program offers monetary aid to students applying for undergraduate engineering degree or diploma programs at accredited universities in Tamil Nadu, thereby supporting their educational journey. The scholarship for eligible students will cover tuition fees, hostel and mess expenses/transportation costs as applicable.

TVS Cheema Scholarship Foundation was established in 2023 to mark the birth centenary of T.S. Srinivasan, the founder of TVS Motor Company.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must be domiciled in Tamil Nadu.
  • They must be applying for or have applied to pursue an undergraduate engineering degree or diploma program at accredited universities in Tamil Nadu.
  • Only students admitted through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling for Engineering Courses / should be admitted through merit list in Regular Diploma Courses.
  • Candidates must have scored at least 60% marks in Class 12 (for undergraduate engineering degree) and Class 10 (for diploma).
  • The total annual family income of candidates from all sources should not exceed INR 8 lakh (for engineering) and INR 5 lakh (for diploma).
  • Eligibility is limited to 2024 pass-outs only, i.e., no gap year or repeat year is allowed.

Documents Required

Following documents are mandatory for TVS Cheema Scholarships 2024 application:

  • Class 10 marksheet (for diploma) or Class 12 marksheet (for degree).
  • Government-issued address proof (e.g., Aadhaar card).
  • Proof of family income.
  • Photograph of the applicant.
