What art materials should be used?
Fine art paint should be used as the main medium and only partially used with other media. Your painting must be two-dimensional and in mediums including: oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, pastel and partial mixed-media.
How is the artwork judged?
All submitted works are collected up to the due date. Afterwards the first, second, and third rounds of judging are conducted gradually over a month by an internal committee of fine art professionals.
What are the judging criteria?
The ShinHan Postcard Art Contest has a new theme every year. Therefore, the artwork is judged on whether it fits this yearβs theme (its relevance) and is based on the interpretation of the student\’s pure thoughts and ideas versus it being a technically well-drawn artwork. Working professional judges, such as art professors, will evaluate the works.
