About the Foundation
Raising a Mathematician Foundation (RAM Foundation) is a Charitable Trust registered under the Bombay Trust Act. The primary focus is on school students, teachers and parents because these three are the pillars of a good educational system. The programs are conducted in the form of workshops, camps, seminars and webinars.
Program Details
Raising A Mathematician Foundation (RAM) has been running a highly sought-out, free 1-week residential math camp for up to 100 kids between the ages of 13 to 15, across India called ‘Raising A Mathematician Training Program’ (RAM TP). This year, the camp will be conducted at Chinmaya International Residential School (CIRS), Coimbatore.
The participants get exposed to a wide spectrum of topics in Mathematics and the sessions are oriented towards building a research mentality in students.
The food facilities at the camp exclusively serves vegetarian food. Accommodation at CIRS Campus will consist of dormitories with shared bathroom facilities. There is no camp fee.

Around 100 students are selected all over India out of hundreds of applications received.

The students are selected based on the inputs provided in the application form
submitted and the Teachers’ Recommendation Letter.
What does a typical day of a student at the training program
look like?
The day generally starts at around 7 am. The sessions typically end by dinner time
with adequate breaks in between. Daily around 4-6 hours of formal sessions are
conducted. This includes a guest lecture by a renowned speaker from reputed
institutes or a research professor or an industry expert.
