Application are invited from interested candidates for the 10th Youth World Cup Painting Competition by Canada Youth Arts Development Foundation and UNICEF.

About the Youth World Cup Painting Competition

The Youth World Cup Painting Competition, initiated by Canada Youth Arts Development Foundation and supported by UNICEF, is a global grand art banquet for world youth and children, and it is also honored as the “Painting Olympic” for youth and children around the world. The competition provides a platform to youth artists to showcase their talents, to pursue their artistic professionalism and to raise funds to help children in poverty via UNICEF’s “School-in-a-Box” program.

Eligibility

The participants can take part under the following age groups:

Preschool Group (Age 4-6);
Children Group(Age 7-12);
Juvenile Group (Age 13-17);
Youth Group (Age18-25).

Theme

The submissions can be made on the following themes:-

Dream
Friendship
Environmental Protection

Prizes

Every age group will receive (The actual prize number depends on the number of contestants): First Prize(Gold Medal); Second Prize (Silver Medal); Third Prize (Bronze Medal), Excellence Prize and several Single Prizes.

All contestants will receive a certificate issued by the Organizing Committee.

How to submit

The size of the painting paper should be: 12 in *18 in (140 lb)/ 30.5cm *45.7cm (300g); along with a Description of the painting in English amounting to 200-250 words shall be provided.

Painting scanning copy, application form, painting-in-hand photo, description and donation receipt shall be altogether made in a compressed file and mailed to the Organizing Committee info[at]paintingworldcup.org, and send originals to 7288 Angus Dr, Vancouver BC, Canada V6P 5J7.

Fee

Application Fee: C$20/each contestant (Pay by cash/check/EMT/transfer) or donate on www.paintingworldcup.org.via “UNICEF Canada” and please send the donation receipt to the Organizing Committee.
