What are some of the good things about the faculty of your School?
An applaudable thing about my school faculty is that senior teachers (of classes 8th-12th) have expertise in their subjects as their work experience is 20-30 years. Many of the teachers are also CBSE-affiliated and have received awards and recognitions which helps them to bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the classroom, that benefits the students’ learning experiences. Another good thing that I would like to point out about my school faculty is that along with academics, they also focus on the overall holistic development of a student by having multiple clubs Large-scale competitions are held frequently.
What are some of the bad things about the faculty of your School?
The faculty at my school has one major drawback – the classrooms are too large for teachers to personally connect with each child and provide valuable feedback for their growth. Additionally, students are often overwhelmed with too many projects at once, leading to immense pressure and stress.
What are some of the good things about the infrastructure of your School?
Our school is spacious, well-maintained, and ventilated which allows various extracurricular activities, sports, and recreational opportunities. Since the outbreak of COVID-19, our classrooms have been upgraded with the latest technology, now every classroom is equipped with a SenseBoard. Washrooms are also hygienic and well-maintained.
What are some of the bad things about the infrastructure of your School?
Recently, gardens have been removed from our school area and classes have been made in place of that. That has certainly resulted in the non-beautifying of the school. Then there are limited specialized facilities for certain activities or sports, such as yoga, indoor sports arenas, or advanced laboratories.
What are some of the good things about the student-to-teacher ratio of your School?
In my school, the high student-to-teacher ratio is a significant issue. However, there are certain good things about it. Students can have a diverse peer connection and allow diverse perspectives to be fostered. Students have opportunities to interact with teachers and participate in class discussions if they want.
What are some of the bad things about the student-to-teacher ratio of your School?
A high student-to-teacher ratio results in Ineffective classroom management which in turn allows students to create indiscipline. Teachers also have difficulty providing timely and detailed feedback on assignments and assessments. When the attendance is full, classrooms are overcrowded which results in indirectly student’s capability to learn and study.
What are some of the great initiatives/amenities offered in your School?
There are various clubs such as Entrepreneurship, MUN, Interact Club, etc. These are very active and students get a good platform to hone their skills. ATAL Tinkering labs are also present in my school which again fosters innovation. The school is well equipped with a Lease Line, Interactive Intelligent Panels, a 3D Interactive Board, Tablets (50), Laptops & Desktops with proper firewalls and antivirus installed for safety & security in hybrid and offline classes. Regular webinars and workshop sessions are also conducted by reputed universities and institutions on a diverse range of topics.
What are the things you would have liked to change about your School if you could?
I want to improve the teacher-to-student ratio and add gardens to my school to enhance the greenery of our school. Also, I would like to propose the idea of bringing back Exchange trips as they are really important for a child’s understanding of various cultures and developing communication skills.
How likely are you to recommend this School to other students?
