How did you apply to this School?
I was a child, so my parents decided which school I should go to.
What are some of the good things about the faculty of your School?
- The teachers’ behaviour towards students is good.
- I don’t know about others, but I was in that school for 10 years and everyone has been nice to me.
- To be honest, teachers are experienced so it feels good to be taught by experienced people.
- The thing I liked about this school which isn’t found in my new school is that this school is very organised.
What are some of the bad things about the faculty of your School?
I won’t call it bad but there are some things that they need improvement in. I believe teachers should not interfere in the personal life of the particular child, and teachers should provide their handmade notes (well, some of them do, but it would be good if everyone did it).
What are some of the good things about the infrastructure of your School?
There are cameras in every class, in every corridor, which I pretty much liked, the library is big, the computer lab has ACs, the senior playground is very big, and the corridors are always clean. The junior and senior sections are divided.
What are some of the bad things about the infrastructure of your School?
The senior playground is big but there isn’t a football ground in that, which I personally really wanted, the music room is very small, the sports room doesn’t have a lot of sports options, the Physics lab isn’t very big, the fans are very old so some of them work and some of them don’t.
What are some of the good things about the teacher-to-student ratio of your School?
Some teachers are nice to students, if a student has any doubts, he or she can feel free to ask without hesitation. Teachers are understanding. They don’t overload students with a lot of assignments. I personally never felt uncomfortable around my teachers. The staff is really good, and the Physics teacher of the senior section is really good.
What are some of the bad things about the teacher-to-student ratio of your School?
- Teachers don’t interact with children personally (except some), which sometimes ends up in partiality.
- It’s better if the teacher explains the concept with the help of real-life examples.
- Teachers don’t change their way of teaching, since it’s almost the same over the years.
What are some of the great initiatives/amenities offered in your School?
Olympiads, inter-house competitions, a chance to be part of the student council in their 11th class, scout and guide, NCC, music, sports opportunities, academic competitions to build up skills, certification is provided as proof that yes this child did something in this field, which is good.
What are the things you would have liked to change about your School if you could?
- If I could, I would introduce more extracurricular activities in my school and introduce inter-school events.
- I would also like to build a canteen which would be great.
- I would also introduce club activities as my school doesn’t have those, which would be great for building up skills.
How likely are you to recommend this School to other students?
7 out of 10.
