How did you apply to this School?

My parents admitted me to this school.

What are some of the good things about the faculty of your School?

  • Dedicated and Qualified: The school faculty holds decent qualifications. The teachers are very dedicated towards their work. They have the zeal and enthusiasm to teach the students.
  • Work Ethics: The teachers are formal. They abide by the regulations of school administration mostly. They also follow the dress code set for them.
  • Communication: This is an important aspect that makes a teacher great. The teachers are good in their communication skills, as they can connect to the students. Students can open up to them making their needs known.
  • Developing the student’s interests: Here the teachers are real motivators. They would help you improve where you lack, and assist you with their valuable experience. I remember a teacher who helped me improve my handwriting, and after that, I was praised for my good handwriting.
  • Your companions: The teachers are going to be the companions in fun memories of your school. One can find that strict teacher who is always concerned about discipline and that sweet one who you would confide in!

What are some of the bad things about the faculty of your School?

Of course, I have some negative points about the faculty. Solely based on my experience, I feel these were negative points about them:

  • Partial in treating students: The same faculty could also be indulged in treating students partially. Tracing back to my memories, the teachers would promote favouritism. The favourite students could be seen everywhere.
  • Promoting private tuition classes: This was a real problem when I was moving to higher classes.

What are some of the good things about the infrastructure of your School?

  • Building: The school has two buildings, one with three storeys and the second with four storeys.
  • Classrooms: The classrooms were well-ventilated with good lighting and fans.
  • Assembly area: It can accommodate students of classes till 4th standard at a time.
  • Assistance: They were female assistants who would help small children use the washrooms.
  • Sanitation: The washrooms are well maintained and cleaned up regularly.
  • Other regular facilities: Library with access for students of higher classes only, canteen, computer lab, and dance room, stationary room, water coolers. The school provides all the general facilities that every student needs.

What are some of the bad things about the infrastructure of your School?

  • No playground: The assembly area is the area where students play. There have been some mishaps in past.
  • Electricity: It can be counted as a problem since there used to be power cuts frequently.
  • No medical room: Although there is some teacher to assist, the school does not have a proper medical room.
  • Inadequate infrastructure: The strength of students was increasing rapidly compared to the infrastructure of the school.

What are some of the good things about the teacher-to-student ratio of your School?

When I was a student there, the teacher-to-student ratio used to be around 30-35 students to 1 teacher. There used to be around 6 sections for every standard. I would say that the teacher’s workload was quite well distributed, also they were able to offer their services well.

What are some of the bad things about the teacher-to-student ratio of your School?

I personally feel that the teacher-to-student ratio in this school could be improved further. Because a lower teacher-to-student ratio would ensure that teachers can connect well with the students. Also, the students will feel comfortable to voice their opinions, ask questions and make their needs known.

What are some of the great initiatives/amenities offered in your School?

  • Affordable quality education: Besides the fact that the fee was quite affordable, they never failed to deliver quality education. I could feel this when I moved out of this school, I found my foundation quite strong.
  • Co-curricular activities: They offered activities from sports, arts, talent and IQ olympiads, dance, spell bee etc and whatnot!
  • Admission and books in a new session: I hope you all know very well that you get books and admission only after paying the fees. But at this school, you could take books and admission and pay the fees later. Because it can get sometimes difficult to arrange fees but this school will never let your studies hamper.

What are the things you would have liked to change about your School if you could?

  • Calling students for fees: This was a big call-off for me since there were several times when they would not let you attend the exam because your dues were not clear. They would make the defaulters sit outside the class.
  • Frequent meet-ups between parents and teachers: This would help them to work for the holistic development of the student.

How likely are you to recommend this School to other students?

8 out of 10.
