Course Details
UNFPA India provides technical assistance to the Government of India in improving the access to quality and rights based sexual and reproductive health services. Recognizing the need to develop online and flexible learning alternatives to reach a wider audience, UNFPA has developed this set of e-modules to provide orientation to primary care providers and managers on issues related to integrated SRH services, and which include the following:
- Introduction to Integrated Sexual and Reproductive Health (ISRH).
- Family Planning.
- Safe Abortion.
- Reproductive Rights.
- Maternal Health – Recommendations on Evidence based Antenatal and Postpartum Care.
These modules contain latest and updated evidence based information on the above SRH issues and will help to address important technical and programmatic facets on these issues. This is a self-directed learning tool, the learner can undertake it at their own pace, as per their time availability, beyond a training room setting. The main audience for these e-modules are service providers (e.g. non-specialist doctors and nurse-midwives) and programme managers at primary health care level.
This programme is absolutely free. When you enroll in the programme, you get access to all of its module, post completing all assignments you earn a certificate.
