The famous Chicken Soup for the Soul is inviting submissions for publication in one of its titles on the Holiday Season. Submit by April 30, 2024!
About Chicken Soup for the Soul
Since 1993, Chicken Soup for the Soul has been a socially conscious company that combines storytelling with making the world a better place. They began by being as inclusive as possible in the pages of their books, publishing stories by people of all faiths, nationalities, ethnicities, sexual orientation and gender identities. With these stories, our publisher and Editor-in-Chief Amy Newmark, and her team put out about a dozen new titles every year. See their over 250 books.
Submission Guidelines
It’s time to celebrate! Their holiday titles make wonderful gifts and are so popular that they create a new edition each year. Their holiday book for 2023 has been completed so we are now collecting stories and poems for our HOLIDAY edition that is scheduled to be published in 2024.
How do you celebrate the holidays? Are your celebrations very traditional or are they very spontaneous and never the same? They want to hear how you celebrate your holidays. How do you gather with family and friends to share the special spirit of the season? How do you brighten those long winter days?
Please submit your true stories and poems about the entire December holiday season, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Boxing Day, and New Yearβs festivities too.
**If your stories are about celebrating Christmas please be sure that they are βSanta safeβ so that they donβt spoil the magic for precocious readers!
