Applications are invited for Chief Minister’s Bigyan Pratibha Sandhan 2023 for Class 11 Science Students in Assam. The last date of application is August 31, 2023.

About the Programme

Applications are invited from Class XI students studying in the science stream in the state of Assam for selection into the “Chief Minister’s Bigyan Pratibha Sandhan”.

Objective of the Scheme

  • To identify extraordinarily talented school students (Class XI level) through a standardized selection process.
  • To provide due exposure to the selected students, as per their field on interests, in various reputed institutions in the country.
  • To provide proper mentoring to the students to work in coordination with a reputed research/technical institution in the state.
  • Selection of 100 students (50 girls) studying in Class XI science stream.
  • The students will be divided into groups as per child their field of interest and sent for one week Fellowship Camp for scientific exposures in reputed scientific institutions of the country.
  • The mentors from the institutions will be providing online mentoring to the students for the entire for the entire year based on their necessity.
  • 5 best students will be chosen to visit world famous scientific institution.

Who can Apply?

Students who have passed 10th standard board examination with minimum of 75% marks from any government recognized board and studying science in class XI in the state of Assam with at least three subjects from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Statistics and Computer Science.

Selection Procedure

Selection will be done through a two phase exam pattern:

  • Written Test comprising MCQ,MSQ and NAT questions.
  • Interview/ Group Discussion.

Only the short listed students from the first phase will be called for the next phase in the ratio of 1:2.
