About the Foundation
Bhai Jaitajee Foundation India is an organization in the social entrepreneurship space, and named after a hero from Sikh history. Bhai Jaita was born to a disadvantaged socio-economic background. However, the good fortune of growing up in an enlightened community that exposed him to progressive ideas, holistic education, and practical training gave him the self-esteem to lead a heroic life.
Inspired by Bhai Jaita’s life and the Gurus who created the communities that transformed people like him, we aim to help the marginalized and dispossessed realize their potential. We seek to be innovative in our approaches.
The Bhai Jaitajee Foundation India (BJFI) is an organization committed to empowering the rural youth by imparting quality coaching in our residential facility to deserving students facing many socio-economic constraints coupled with accessibility to good coaching institutes.
The focus is to help them achieve their academic excellence through specialized coaching and continuous mentoring. Alongside, attention is being paid to groom them as holistic personalities to become good human beings with high moral and spiritual values.
Eligibility
The applicant should be a resident of Punjab or Chandigarh, & should have scored at least 80% in Science & Maths each, & 75% aggregate marks in Class IX.

Important dates
- Registration for Selection Test: Open till 31st December 2024, 5 pm
- Written Test Date: 2nd February 2025, 10.00 am to 1.30 pm (Tentative)
- Registration Fee: Rs. 100/- (to be paid in cash at the Examination Center)
- The last date for application is 31st December 2024.
Selection Process
The written test will consist of three parts: (i) Objective type Mental Maths test (Level: Class V to VIII), (ii) Objective type test in Maths and Science (Level: Classes IX & X), (iii) English Comprehension (Level: Classes IX & X)
Shortlisted candidates will undergo second round of written test & / or interview the details of which will be communicated later.
