C.A.A.B Publishing is an independent publishing house founded in Chichester, UK. They publish most genres of fiction including novels, collections of short stories, children’s books and occasional anthologies, as well as non-fiction, including memoirs and travel writing.

Competition Details

At C.A.A.B Publishing they believe in encouraging as many people as possible to be creative, they are currently running a competition for young authors open to give people the chance to get writing so they can discover the joy of seeing their work in print.

Join some amazing emerging authors, in this fantastic anthology of stories with a twist. Each one must be set in the Winter and must have a sting in the tail.

Eligibility

This prize promotion is open to all young writers between the relevant age requirements as listed in the competition rules below. Excluding employees and their immediate families (spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent and/or “step” family), of The Promoter, associated agents or anyone professionally connected with the prize promotion.

Entries

Only one entry per person per prize promotion unless otherwise stated in the individual promotion. All additional entries will be disqualified. Entries must include the relevant theme and be around 2,000 words or less for the Young Adult’s competition.

Rules

  • All stories must have a twist.
  • Stories must not exceed 2000 words.
  • The competition is open to young writers aged 13-16.
  • Entries must be sent as a Word Document with no pictures please.

Gratifications

The winner of this competition will receive a £30 Amazon gift voucher and every story accepted will be printed in an anthology of stories and made available on Amazon, in addition to this every young writer with a story in the book will receive a free PDF copy as a ‘well done’ for being such a brilliant new author.

The winning story will be selected by a panel of judges.
