About the Opportunity

Angdaan MahotsavΒ campaign kicked started on July 1, 2023, in line with the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to raise awareness on organ donation across the country. As part of the campaign, August 3, 2023 will be celebrated asΒ Indian Organ Donation DayΒ to commemorate the first deceased donor organ transplant, which was also the first Heart transplant done in the country, after the promulgation of “The Transplantation of Human Organ Act” on July 8, 1994.

The month of July 2023 is being organised as the Organ Donation month wherein many awareness activities have been planned.

National Organ and Tissue Transplant OrganisationΒ underΒ the Ministry of Health and Family WelfareΒ in collaboration withΒ the MyGovΒ platform is organizing Slogan Writing Competition on Organ Donation as part of the Angdaan Mahotsav.

Prizes

The selected top entries will be awarded cash prizes and certificates.Β 

Cash rewards for Slogan Writing Competition will be as below:

  • First:Β Rs. 5,000.
  • Second:Β Rs. 3,000.
  • Third:Β Rs. 2,000.
  • Consolation Prize to other 10 participants:Β Rs. 1,000.

Terms and Conditions

  • The competition is open to all Indian citizens.
  • The slogan should be in either Hindi or English.
  • The entry must not contain any provocative, objectionable, or inappropriate content.
  • Images of slogans written in ink will not be considered.
  • Entries will only be accepted in PDF format with a word limit of 20 words.
  • The slogan should be original and must not infringe on the Intellectual Property Rights of any third party.
  • A participant can submit only one entry. In case it is found that any participant has submitted more than one entry, all his/ her entries will be considered as invalid.
  • The entry must be original and should not violate any provision of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957, and must not infringe on the intellectual rights of any third party the National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation, MoHFW, and MyGov do not bear any responsibility for copyright violations or infringements of intellectual property carried out by the participants.
  • The winning entries may be used by the MoHFW, for promotional and display purposes, IEC (Information, Education, and Communication) materials and for any other use as may be deemed appropriate.
