Competition Details
Samsung Solve for Tomorrow India 2024 is an opportunity offered by Samsung India to students aged between 14 and 22 years.Β This year’s program is a strategic partnership between Samsung India, the United Nations in India, IIT Delhi, the Foundation for Innovation & Technology Transfer (FITT), and the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology. It aims to equip students with stronger problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
The competition is divided into two tracks:
- School Track (solving for India): It is open for 14-17 years oldΒ under the Theme “Community and Inclusion.” It aims to empower underprivileged groups, improve accessibility to healthcare, and promote social inclusion for all.
- Youth Track (solving for the world): ItΒ is open for 18-22 years oldΒ under the Theme “Environment and Sustainability.” It aims to reduce carbon footprint, protect the environment, and promote sustainability.
Selected individuals will receive grants up to βΉ25,00,000 along withΒ additional benefits.
Guidelines
- Be an Indian national.
- Individuals or teams of up to five people can apply for the challenge.
- The team or individual must not have secured funding or awards exceedingΒ βΉ5,00,000 for the exact same proposal from any agency or competition.
- Employees or agents of Samsung, its implementation agencies including the implementation partner, any of its group companies, or their immediate families, households, or anyone professionally affiliated with the competition are not eligible to participate.

Can one participant participate in two different teams?
No. In case a participant is found to be a part of two different teams, the application will be rejected. Please read the T&C of the competition carefully.
Which language should be used in the PowerPoint proposal?
English and Hindi are accepted.
