Make sure to participate in the Fire Safety at Healthcare Facilities Quiz by MyGov and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare by May 5.

About the Quiz

Hospitals and other health facilities lie at the heart of preparedness and response to public health risks resulting from any disaster. However, in situations where hospitals and other health facilities themselves are affected by fire accidents, there is a substantial risk to the lives of patients, their attendants, as well as the hospital functionaries.

To enhance awareness on the significance of maintaining fire safety in hospitals, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare is organising a β€˜Fire Safety Week’ from 21st to 25th April 2025.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare hosted this Quiz competition in collaboration with MyGov. This quiz is designed to instil among the masses an awareness and understanding of fire prevention, preparedness and response measures for promoting and enhancing safe hospitals and other health facilities.
