Registrations are invited for CREST Reasoning Olympiad 2024 for Students in Classes 1 to 10. The exam will be conducted in online mode.
About CREST
The Centre for Research and Exams in Science and Technology (CREST) is established by some of the prominent names in the education industry. This initiative aims to assess the practical knowledge that would help students to apply their learning in different areas and excel in the same.
Olympiad Details
The CREST Reasoning Olympiad (CRO) is an international competitive exam held online for students in classes 1-10. There will be only one level for all the classes. The exam is an objective-type test that the students need to complete in 60 minutes.
The exam consists of two sections:
- Section-1: Logical Reasoning.
- Section-2: Achievers Section.
CREST Reasoning Olympiad is considered to be one of the most participated and unique Reasoning Olympiad exams. The main motive for conducting this examination every year is to test the logical and reasoning capabilities of students.
A few of the basic necessities for participating in level 1 of CRO are listed below:
- The students studying in classes 1-10 are eligible to participate.
- Candidates can participate in the exam by registering individually and through schools.
- All the participating schools must be affiliated with any Indian recognized education board like ICSE, CBSE, State Board, IB, etc.
- As it is an international Olympiad exam, students from any country can give the exam.
Guidelines
- There are separate question papers for each and every class.
- The medium of the exam is English.
- CBSE, ICSE/ISC and other State Board syllabus is followed for the setting of test papers.
- The online exams are conducted on web-enabled devices like laptop, tablet or desktop with webcam. Mobile devices are not allowed.
- For students of class 1, the parent/teacher can assist the child in guiding through the questions.
- In case the registration is not through school, the student will have to take exam from home.

13th and 15th January, 2024.
Awards
Exciting awards worth INR 4 Cr are kept for the achievers. There are prizes for 50% of the students with top scores. CREST Olympiads recognize students with Merit Certificates, Trophies, Medals, ‘Honorable mention’ Digital Certificates, etc. for their top performance in the examination. Each participant is also given a digital participation certificate.
Fee
The exam fee is INR 225 for students studying and enrolling from India.
